Who Made my clothes?

Who made my clothes is something we should all be asking ourselves!

Do you know who made your clothes?

Or how it’s possible for a garment to cost under 10$€?

Do you know what waters and rivers had to be polluted to get that colour or wash on those pair of jeans or leathers?

Did you ever ask yourself wow all this beaded embroidery for under 50$€.... they must have a machine that does that when actually it’s a lady in India with her 4 kids in a one room home trying to bead fast enough to get pennies for her timely efforts!?

I think we all need to reflect on the bigger picture and ask ourselves what can we do to break the chain of fast fashion.

What we can is support any slow/sustainable fashion brand by shopping where you can trust that the workers and the cloth have been treated right. I would buy less and mend or upcycle your clothing already hanging in your closet. S well as educate ourselves on what is really going on in the world of fashion. We can make the change one garment at a time together!

Here at krug fashion we are part of the slow fashion movement. WE make everything made to measure creating almost no waste and with any fabric scraps that are left over we create hair accessories and facemasks and even packaging to send off our one of a kind items. We also make everything in house here in Sicily, with so much passion and love. We also love to upcycle and give a new life to your clothing. We love what we do and we love to make a difference one garment at a time.
